On Friday, November 1 the Club will be transformed into the first annual Halloween Spookeasy. Guests will enjoy creepy, immersive experiences, curated cocktails, culinary delights, featured performances and live music and dancing.

Black Iris Collective, The Honey Taps, national headlining comic, Heath Hyche, drag queen, Lucia Glamoure, Cyr Wheel act from Circus Foundry and acclaimed burlesque performer, Vyla Vaudette, will perform.

There will also be a mystery wall and legitimate tarot card readings and fortune telling from the Shamanic Dolls.

Guests must be 21 years old minimum and are encouraged to get creative and don their best “dead” 1920s era costumes.

$200 gift certificates to the Relâche Spa, tickets to ICE, the live holiday show at the brand new Gaylord Rockies, bottles of Moët & Chandon, local goods and more will be awarded to the costume contest and raffle winners.

The newly renovated Ironworks building in downtown Denver near the Broncos Stadium is the perfect venue for the speakeasy inspired Club. It will also be home to an over the top swanky New Year’s Eve party and Valentine’s Day 2020.

The Cottonwood Club features the Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge as a VIP option for guests. This lounge is a private area perched above the stage offering guests a prime view of the live entertainment, an exclusive bar and swanky lounge atmosphere complete with plush seating, sexy lighting and velvet ropes. Guests will be treated to passed culinary delights and sweets plus a complimentary cocktail for each person – Moët & Chandon Champagne should they choose – included in the price of their tickets.

“The Cottonwood Club is breaking all molds,” said Julia Tobey, Give 5 Productions founder and producer. “We love immersing our guests into another world by gathering an amazing group of unique performers from right here in Colorado and around the country. Ironworks was literally built for this, and the Spookeasy is going to be such an exciting debut. ”

With regular performances in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, female flapper-inspired tap troupe The Honey Taps made their Denver debut at The Cottonwood Club. The performers go all out harkening a bygone era with a nostalgic wink to flappers of the 1920s and bubbly chorus girls of the swinging 1930s and 1940s.

Taking the party to another level, literally, Circus Foundry delights guests with traditional and modern circus acts. The Denver-based professional super troupe sells out shows across the state, showcasing circus talents including aerialists, acrobats, hoopers, hand-balancers, fire throwers and belly dancers.

The Black Iris Collective, a female led DJ fusion band, provides the captivating soundtrack to the evening. Inspired by contemporary electro swing artists like Caravan Palace, Caro Emerald and Earl, and the reinvention of Today’s Top 40 by Postmodern Jukebox; this band brings together the unique tight knit harmony of three female vocalists with the high energy of acclaimed emcee and rapper Myke Charles, DJ Tasos Hernandez and killer musicians. The talented artists keep guests dancing and entertained all night long.

Shamanic Dolls is an interactive theater company devoted to the expansion of consciousness through the creative process. Two founding members will tell fortunes and read tarot cards at the Spookeasy.

Built in 1903 with additions in the 1930s and re-opened with a complete renovation in 2018, the Ironworks building at 25 Larimer Street in downtown Denver is the perfect setting for this spirited Gatsby-inspired affair with design elements of early industrial, 1920s glamour, art deco and depression era in the architecture, design and décor of the building.
